One of the main strengths of Grupo IG is self-supply. Through our Purchase Centre in North America, North Star Lumber, our factories in Spain are directly sent the raw materials previously selected in their origin and transported by vessels that have been exclusively chartered by Grupo IG.

Our ability to select the best raw materials and transport, them without go-betweens to our facilities is one of the reasons that make Grupo IG the biggest importer of tropical timbers to Europe, apart from guaranteeing the best management of raw materials in sustainable growth plantations, which have been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
