Grupo IG was created in 1937, when its founder Antonio Iglesias begins the marketing and exploration of the autochthonous mounts and woods in Galicia, creating his handcraft seal and a special care in the manufacturing of timber, which has nowadays become our trademark.

With the passing of time and already in the second family generation, the mother company was created in 1965: MADERAS IGLESIAS, from whose expansion in the 80’s the present Grupo IG would stem, with its current presence in four continents.

Grupo IG is a cluster of companies encompassing all the manufacturing processes of our product, wood in all its forms, and thus it is able to control the selection of raw materials in their origin, their transportation, manufacture, design, distribution and installation to finish the cycle.

All this allows us to guarantee to our final customer the exact control of timber, offering the highest quality in our raw materials and finished products.
