Before the floor is totally deteriorated, it is advisable to recover it by means of a process that is denominated relacquering which avoids having to sandpaper the pavement totally. Next we explain some very advantageous advice for you to obtain optimal results in relacquering.

Preparations before revarnished:

• We will begin by passing a cloth or humid mop with BONA PREP all over the surfaces to work letting it act on the floor about ten minutes.
  
            
  
• Next we will polish the floor with a pad.
  
            
  
• We will continue passing a cloth with clean water to retire the dirt obtained when polishing.
  
            
  
• We will polish in dry with a cloth or a towel underneath the pad.
  
            
  
• The following step will be to polish with the system scrad + wind.
  
            
  
• Next we will pass the vacuum cleaner meticulously. 
  
            
  

• The election of the suitable lacquer must be made in accordance to the function of the pavement. We will apply a lacquer layer and we will let it dry. This drying will be longer than usual because the surface will be covered and it will not absorb anything. 
  
  

• The last step will be the application of a second lacquer layer that besides to perfectly cover the scratches that we have done during the abrasion, will extend the life of the hardwood flooring for more years.
