Keep the room in the following conditions, 45-65% of relative humidity and 20ēC. In the cold seasons, when the heating is used intensely, the relative humidity can descend to a very low level, this can have as consequence the formation of small cracks. Clean the laminated floor with a vacuum cleaner. Clean in humid with a floorcloth. When cleaning this way, use as little water as possible.
Use for the cleaning water without additives or with a special detergent for laminate. After the cleaning, dry it thoroughly. The laminated floor does not need any special treatment. The surface is constituted by melamine resins of high quality, not by wood; therefore don´t use any kind of wax for floor or any polishes for the preservation ot the pavement. Don´t use steam cleaning devices.
Considerations:
Stick protectors of felt underneath the legs of the chairs and furniture. Use movable chairs with soft wheels. In the proximities of the doors place rugs or mats big enough. In case of floors with heating, the temperature of the surface of the laminate must be inferior to 26ēC.
